I love my weekly private lessons here with Paul. Although I have Autism, he really helps me and has helped me come on loads with my riding since I’ve been coming to Markfield. Nothing is ever too much for him. He’s a great instructor! Always full of energy and ready to teach.

Markfield equestrian centre is an excellent riding school and livery yard with great facilities and helpful, welcoming staff. They have a range of horses suitable for all types of beginner to advanced riders. Lessons are informative and fun for all ages and help you to progress your riding ability. I've been riding there for over 5 years and they have never failed to make my time there enjoyable.

This place has taught me so much so here’s my testimonial!
I started riding over 20 years ago at a centre in Birmingham. However when I was 10 I started lessons at Markfield and this place completely changed my perspective of riding! The lessons suitably push you so that you are constantly learning and improving your skills, however if something is too much then that is ok too! They have a huge variety of horses and ponies to learn on and they are all talented in their own way. I learned so much so fast that even my dad, who was in his mid-40s started having lessons so that we could ride together! He even jumps! If you are thinking about having lessons here you will not regret it!

I have been riding at Markfield for a few years now. I have ridden several of their horses but my favourite are Elle & Buddy ❤Paul has been a fantastic teacher. He listens to me and helps me correct my posture. He always makes me feel comfortable and confident in what I am doing or what the exercise is. I have recommended many people sign up to ride at Markfield and everyone has had the same positive outcome.

I've been riding with Markfield for a few years. I started in 2016/17 and then started again in 2019. I have been to one of 2 other riding schools and I have never felt more comfortable than I do at Markfield. The staff are fantastic and really care about their pupils as well as the horses. I would be lost without my weekly visits. If I could ride every day then I'd be there every day of every week. It always helps when you have that special bond with a horse.

I’ve been riding at Markfield Equestrian Centre since February 2005 and have had an amazing riding experience from the get go. Always still learning when at the stables, staff and volunteers are super friendly and horses and ponies are always happy to see you and always brings a smile to your face. Recommend having lessons at Markfield Equestrian Centre and the atmosphere that comes with being part of the community.

I’ve been having lessons with Graham for over 10 years on different horses and for advice with different problems. The clinics have been informative and fun and I’ve met so many great people along the way! Definitely recommend if you need some redirection or competition practice!
